Default Uber

You guys need to get a ride share app. Save yourself a lot of money getting to and from the airports.

There's no doubt about that, Andy. We've blown a lot of money on rental cars and taxis.

Looks like they've done a lot of upgrade on the Titan site since my visit more than 20 yrs ago. My wife couldn't navigate the open grate stairs, gave her vertigo and she stayed above ground.
You missed the visit to the famous Tucson - Pima Air and Space Museum?

Maybe on the next trip ... but it will take most of a day to do it justice. Ryan (KRYN) field to the WNW about 11 miles is a good Class D field as an alternate to KTUS. Newly opened café is reportedly very good, for breakfast runs.

Hi Gary,
I don't think trading out Sedona for PIMA would have gone over too well with the Mrs. As it turns out though, we didn't make it to Sedona either, so I think I can see another trip south will be required Thanks for the tip.

Default USS Sedona - good stop-over:

The USS Sedona is a stop-over (too many new age 'vortices' in Sedona to dwell long.), an overnight to enjoy the scenery enroute to the Pima museum. The Grill at the airport is very good. Hotel is walking distance.

KCMR (Williams) is a high altitude (6700 msl) but economical fuel stop, in good weather. Example; currently winds 060@25G35m, no brakes landing.

Enjoyed your trip report.
