The weather outside is frightful! Time for a temporary paint booth. I'm a bit of a miser when it comes to stuff I seldom use and I like multitask tools so here goes. I had most of the stuff.
4 each plant hangars
4 sticks of 3/4" condit
1 each 1"x2"x8' furring strip.
5 each shower curtains. I save old curtains for just this sort of thing.
2 packs curtain hangars. I use them for organizing stuff on the racks.
1 Harbor Fright tarp
Spring clamps
Rare earth magnets
Rule 240 bildge blower
Old storage bin
Air filters
Dryer vent fittings. Use your imagination
Dryer vent
Hang the condits from the garage door frame. I hung them so the door would open.
Hang the curtains from the conduits.
Place the furring strip over the top
Toss the last curtain over as a roof.
Pull the conduits so the curtains are tight and tie strap them to each other in the corners.
Place the tarp as a floor and form corners by folding and clipping the curtains and tarp in each corner.
Use the rare earth magnets to hold the curtain to the tarp in between corners.
Add a couple saw horses and a baby gate.
Ok. Booth is ready. Now for the exhaust.
The Rule 240 is intrinsically safe.
Cut the lid of the bin, place the filter over the top and snap the cover on.
Cut a hole in the bottom for a dryer vent coupler so it fits tight.
Place the bin in the booth against a wall and hook up the blower.
Use a section of dryer vent to connect the blower to the coupler.
Use another to connect the blower to another coupler.
Install a dryer exhaust vent in the wall.
Connect the dryer hose to the exhaust vent.
Power up the blower.
Spray booth is ready for action.
When you're done, store the small stuff in the bin.

I feel like an idiot. It didn't occur to me that the garage door open up a huge space at the top. Change of plan needed. Install a dryer vent in the wall. Doh!
