Hubcaps for the RV-12

My grass strip is still coming in so I am leaving the wheel pants off for awhile longer. But MATCO sells hubcaps. Here they are on the RV12.

There are three bent flat pieces of metal for mounts that go under the three LONG capscrews that go through the wheel (not the three shorter ones.)

Each mount has a tinnerman nut. One of these will fall off as soon as you have the other two screws installed, so secure them with tape first, as shown.

Also, the screws that NATCO supplies are awful! They are slot-headed (is that still a thing?) and about a quarter inch too short for ease of installation. Do yourself a favor and get replacement longer Phillips head.

The hubcaps are made of lightweight PVC.
