Advanced Flight Quick Panels

I received a call while at lunch today from Wally at Synergy Air in Eugene. Their RV-8 customer was ready for us to test-fit his new Advanced Quick Panel. An hour later Jeffrey, (our chief SolidWorks panel engineer) and I were headed to Eugene in the RV-10 with a new RV-8 panel and all the modules.



New Advanced RV-8 Quick Panel in the customer's RV-8 fuselage. The Advanced Control Module fits perfectly in the RV-8.


You can even see the fuses from the pilot's seat.


Here is a picture of a customer's Advanced RV-7 IFR Quick Panel, powder-coated and ready for silk-screening.





We are currently building 5 identical panels, 3 are sold and 2 need homes. They will fit a RV-7 or RV-9 slider. So, if you are looking for a Christmas present we have you covered without the usual wait to have a panel built.


These panels are completely engineered down to the washers, using 3D modeling in SolidWorks, and come with complete schematics and installation instructions. All you need to do is mount the remote components and plug in the supplied harnesses.

Hi Ron

Could you tell me what are the size of the screens on the RV-8 and if such a panel will be possible ( Probably with smaller screen ) in an RV-4?

If yes, any rough idea how much it will be?

The RV-8 panel has two AF-5600 10.4" Touch screens. The RV-4 panel is smaller, I would install a single AF-5600 screen in the middle of the panel.

How long does it take to install a GTN-650?

How long does it take to install and wire a GTN-650 in a RV-7 panel?

It takes less than 15 minutes if you are using our Quick Panel System. Bolt the tray to predrilled panel holes and plug in the harness to the Advanced Control Module. The wiring for the Power, Ground, RS-232, GPS ARINC, NAV ARINC, and audio are all in our harness.
