There have been a few descriptions of an auxiliary or ferry tank install for the RV-8. The solution places a tank in in the rear seat area.
I recently completed the project with my construction, installation, and testing. My implementation has a few changes (but that is typical of any of your mods). I chose a 22 gallon tank.
