RV Time Tops My Log Book

Had a week off, and flew 6 out of 7 days. I love having a flying RV!

The one big flight was Cable (KCCB) to Laughlin (KIFP). Flew over in the morning to miss the afternoon heat and bumps. Spent 24 hours gambling, and flew back at 7 am the next morning. Great flight. Lots of fun. Might have also been the first time I spent 24 hours at a casino and only had water and ice tea to drink. Went to bed at 10pm, and felt great for that morning departure the next day.

Anyway, after this week I took a look at my log book. A couple of years back I put the log book into a database, so I can pull reports. My flight summary report now shows my RV9A as the plane with the most hours. Very Cool :)

Sounds like winning

Sometimes, when one's been out gambling, people ask, "how'd you do?"

6 out of 7 days flying, and the RV a new leader in the logbook - I think the answer's clear!

???

760 landings in a couple hundred hours of flying? You need to stop going in circles and start flying to all sorts of cool places. The 9a loves to explore. Enjoy some straight and level time. You will love it. Happy flying.

When I was building the 9A, I would take the Gobosh and Remos LSA's up for laps around the pattern at Cable, kept me current, and I got used to flying light plans with sticks. Both of those LSA's tend to float if you don't watch your numbers on approach. It was great practice for my 9A.
