Fascinating, Alex...

I have trouble envisioning general aviation in your country. Do you fly whenever and wherever you wish? Do you have the "follow me" car each time you land?

Very nice video, and a different perspective from the usual video shots we see. Curious how you mounted the camera. Could you share a picture of your camera mount?

Jarvis, not so bad as you imagine. Nowadays Russian FAR has been closed up to US ones and I can fly almost everywhere excluding restricted areas like big cityes, nuclear stations, military bases etc. All of them are indicated in maps and GPS data.
That car was a funny surprise for me promissed by tower while I had been aproaching to land on an old almost deserted military airfield. There is a private club of L29 jets lovers. Sometimes they use restored old army jeep to meet guests:)

That is just absolutely fascinating!!! Do you have a hard time finding avgas? Is your system like what the European system seems to be with charges for almost every movement and service? Are there many airports for you to fly to? Again, just fascinating.....

I attached the camera to HS with regular adhesive mount only. And now I don't know how to delete it:confused:

I have an AVGAS station directly at my hangar. See the enclosed picture:D

I don't fly to big airports due to their hard traffic and incredible charges. There are a lot of nice and cosy private airfields where avgas is available too.

I was asked many times how GA things are working in Russia. When I've told them what you just posted here they didn't believe me.

See, that is why it is so fascinating. Vlad has been propagating the opposite for a long time!!! :)
 
If you use a hair dryer and get it really warm, then use a rounded plastic or wood popsicle stick and work at an edge, it will come off.
