Guess I was too subtle about my original posting. Van graduated from the U of Portland in 1961 and in 2008 the article in the above links came out in the alumni mag.

They periodically do this with their grads who have accomplished great things and Van certainly qualifies. He, of course, is too modest to toot his own horn. Just thought it would be of interest to all the RV fanatics here.
