Van's rv-8 Seat cushions for a -4?

Hallo.
I am in the stage of installing seats in my 4. I looked at the OA ones but they are pricey. So I thinked on making them in my own. Meanwhile I looked at Van's Rv8 cushions and wondered if they may fit the 4, with slight modifications.
Has anyone tried this option?

The OR seats are costly but boy are they comfy. I'm 35, 135 lbs and pretty limber. Those seats extended my range to the limit of my fuel. Plus free alteration till they fit you right.
 
If you have electric flaps, I'll offer a probable yes. Also a probability the pilot seat may encroach and crowd the passengers leg room.
 
Rv 8 cushions in rv4

I used 8 cushions in my 4 bottom cushion very supportive back cushion little thick for me overall much improvement to previous cushions.iwonder why I waited so long to up grade.
 
Thank-you. I will go with -8 seats. Yes, I do have electric flaps. And yes, I expected I would have to make some mod
