Big shout out to Ms. Laura. Congratulations! Possibly a plane of her own. What’s it going to be? Vans, Rans or ?

One thing for sure, The sky will be a lot brighter with Ms. Laura piloting around. Move over Mike S. (or climb in back).

Charlie

Pretty special day for her.

Laura wrote on her Face Book page---------> I forgot to mention that this would have been my dad’s 98th birthday. He was my inspiration as a child to fall in love with flying. He was a WW2 Navy pilot whose love for flying rubbed off on me! Took his navy logbook with me on the flight today. Dedicated to my dad’s memory!!!

Diane worked 17 years for Northwest Airlines in reservations – flew all over the world.

When we had our J3-Cub she’d sit in the back seat and hang her legs out the door.

She missed the step getting out of the RV-12 and broke her ankle. Six months later she was flying again…

Congrats Laura! Big step.
Nice connection to your Dad...taking the log book up with you was a nice touch. Thanks for sharing the event!
