Andair Duplex fuel valve orientation

Hi All,

Just wanted some help on fitting the extension for the duplex Andair valve.

I have cut a hole in the panel for the extension part and cut the extension to length. It all fits perfectly.

The question I have is, in what position do you attach the extension mounting to the tunnel cover. The valve rotates on its end with no end. The extension governs the stop locations. There is an additional top engraved cover that just spins and can be fixed in any orientation afterwards.

I presume you just mount the extension pointing straight ahead with the 4 screw holes, then fit the top engraved cover after. The manual is not very helpful at all.

Any advice would be welcome

Different Andair valve models have different lever positions. I suggest you move the valve to a known position, example to the LEFT tank position, than orient your extension-lever-cover plate appropriately. Note some Andair models have two OFF positions.
