Hi guys,
I'm fitting the top skin just aft of the canopy, and dealing with the curved 611 reinforcements that go inside the skin. Any insight on cutting/shaping these things? I looks like I can lop off the ends to get rid of the tooling holes, but I'm worried that I'll take off too much. The uppermost rivets are going to take some creativity too!
And what about the little extensions of the J-stringers on the turtle deck that protrude past the forward bulkhead (on the QB, they're protected by little aluminum semicircles that are temporarily riveted on). Can they be trimmed flush with the bulkhead?
