I'm fitting my aft seat pans and the 2 rear inner nutplates on each side (circled in red) are falling on top of the seat rib flange. All of the other nutplates fall outside of the seat rib flange. Do those nutplates not belong there?
Hi Tom, I'm not sure what you mean but all of those nutplates should be attached to the rib flange, not just the aft two. Here is a picture of mine when I was at that stage. The flap housing covers are bolted to the floor using those nut plates.
Yes, if you look at drawing 25 you can see the indicator lines going through the rib flange. What they don't show clearly is the rivet holes in the flange but there is no way to fit a platenut between the pan and the rib as you have found out.
