Turn ON/OFF Garmin Virb by G3X Touch remotely?

Good Morning,
The basic controls provided by the G3X Touch screen when paired with a VIRB camera are 'Record' for video, and 'Capture' for photos. The G3X Touch will not remotely turn the power on or off directly.
However, part of the VIRB system features include 'Remote Wake Up', and 'Auto Off'. When these are enabled, the 'Auto Off' feature will shut down the camera when not used for five minutes. With 'Remote Wake Up' activated, the camera remains in a very lower power state to enable the camera to boot up when commanded to start recording or take a photo from a remote source. This will help extend battery life. But, remember to turn off the 'Remote Wake Up' feature when storing the camera or it will draw power from the battery. You will know this feature is still enabled by the flashing blue light on the VIRB camera while it is powered down.
