Painting A Mars Rover

Thought this article would be of interest. One hint... they didn't use rattle can primer. But they did use the same tape to mask things off, and show them pressing the tape down.

For me, painting will be a whole new adventure. Can't say I'm looking forward to it. So this very general article and video was pretty interesting, especially since I have a background in spacecraft engineering (the article isn't technical).

RV-3B, getting there....

Why do they wear clean room bunny suits to work on them if the rovers end up in the most harsh and dusty place in the solar system?

Partly for the bio-contamination issue and partly to avoid getting dust into places inside where it'll affect the rover.
