Hole below the rudder cable guide in the tunnel?

Where the rudder cables enter the cabin by your feet in the tunnel there is a hole just below that doesn?t seem to have a use. I was considering using it for a wiring Adel in the tunnel but maybe it has a different purpose not yet revealed?

What?s it for?

It should be for an ASEL clamp holding the plastic rudder Cable sleeve in place so the Cable doesn?t rub on the tunnel side.

The RV-14 uses machined UHMW cable guides mounted in the side panel of the tunnel.

The holes mentioned are intended for clamps to support any systems cables/wires at the mid point of the tunnel.

Perfect! I had put nutplates in the unused outboard positions of the fuel pump bracket but putting clamps on the tunnel side will be far superior.
