Primer on firewall forward aluminum

I posted in the primer section and lots of reads but no opinions. I primed all the aluminum aft of the firewall. Was considering not doing so forward with my firewall forward kit. Heat and oil should keep water out of there.... How many primed the baffle pieces and the other small clips/brackets and who didn't bother? My production plane doesn't have anything primed forward and looks good enough 40+ years later....

I powder coated the baffles as was suggested by a good friend and multiple time builder. Not sure it's really needed but weights almost nothing and looks good :) Only other coated parts FWF are the brackets powder coated by Vans.

corrosion should not be a factor for the reason said but a paint that can be help wiping off things would be helpful. A fair number of bugs manage to dodge the prop and make their way to the cowling only to get splatted on the baffle.
