With a purported wet weather system coming into the Bay Area, I figured test flying was out, but maybe it was time to get rid of the pink cowling. It was a lot of work, starting with one coat of epoxy resin and acetone, sanding, filling with bondo fine scratch, four coats of epoxy primer filler and lots of sanding and two coats of epoxy paint. The weather system never materialized, but now that I've put everything back together, it looks like its arriving now. Check out the paint job...

The color is Nason "Corvette White". This was really a learning experience for me and I'm happy with the results for now. This stuff really smells when you put it in a hot car...even after a couple of days. I made sure I didn't pull up alongside any police cars with my windows down...
