I used to have a TAS calculator called GPS2TAS. It was simple and functional. New ipad and new phone. Now it's gone. I cannot find one on the App Store.

Does anybody know of an iPhone or iPad app for flying a gps box. If not I will record the data and look up someone's spreadsheet

That is too bad, I do not understand why some very useful apps seem to expire from the Apple istore.

The good news is the arithmetic is straight forward and you can easily get the code working in Numbers from my original paper, though there have been many useful extensions to the original. See Kevin Horton's flight test site.

I got Sam's spreadsheet and "Numbers" once I figured out what that was. That works for me. I did like the simplicity of the app though.

I never thought to Google it. Duh. It is not on the AppStore though. Still I have hope that it will be reinstated. Pretty cool that they credit Doug's algorithms.

I am probably too lazy to even look for my whiz wheel much less try to figure it out again. ;)

Does Sporty's E6B have a gps box TAS calculator. If so, that would be great. I can't find mention of it in its description, however. I already have another E6B app that does not have that function.
