Replacing G3X non-touch 7" with touch

I bought a project RV9A. The original builder had a wiring harness made up for 2 7" portrait non-touch screens (GDU 370, IIRC). I'm going to install GDU 470 touch screens. My question is, is this just a plug and play, or will there have to be some wiring changes?

The GDU470 will be a direct plug and play to the GDU370 wiring harness. No wiring changes needed! For a retrofit aircraft already flying with non-touch GDU370s, the configuration settings will need copied and re-formatted via the new touch screen GDU470.

The panel cutout may need to be very slightly modified to open up the corners a little for the -470 screen (a file should accomplish this).

Page 37-5 of the G3X Touch Installation Manual outlines the process. http://static.garmin.com/pumac/190-01115-01_ak.pdf

Best Regards,

Thanks Brad. The only thing that's been done is the panel cut and the harness made. The screens aren't even installed yet.
