I finished bending and drilling the longerons this weekend (woohoo). Cleco'd the mid cabin decks on (I think this becomes the bottom of the doorway and then put in the longerons.
The outboard edge of the mid cabin decks are just a tad proud of the outboard face of the longerons. I measured it to between .020 and .038 in various places, both sides.
From what i can see in the plans the skins mount right to this surface, so if I left as is, there would be a small bump in the skin. It would be abrupt too, assuming the skin gets riveted right to the longeron.
Anybody else run into this? Thinking I just need to run the edge of the mid cabin deck across my sander a bit to bring it flush.
Tried to take a pic but not sure its worth much.
