Pitch servo installation

Can anyone tell me when and where the pitch servos are installed on the RV-14? There's no mention of it in the aft fuselage instructions.

The autopilot pitch servo is most easily installed when you do the bellcrank and pushrods in Section 36.

And the particular servo is based on the EFIS vendor you choose. A Garmin servo for a G3X, for example, or a Dynon servo for a Skyview HDX.

These installations are in Sections 56 and 57. If you want a different EFIS, perhaps GRT, you'll be using their mounting suggestions.

If using Dynon or Garmin, get servo installation kit from Van's. IIRC separate kits for pitch/wing. Also a kit for yaw servo if you're installing that.

Just to be clear,

The installation kits for plans set 56 and 57 from Van's.

The actual servos from your avionics supplier.
