Thumbs up Bargain Airpark Home

Airpark hangar with home attached available for only $280,000

This is a very nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath home at Gold Hill Air Park, NC25. It's on a beautifully partially wooded lot. Gold Hill is about a 40 minute drive NE of Charlotte. (But who wants to drive?) The airpark is currently home to 7 RVs. We could use some more.

Runway: 3000 X 30' lighted

"fully furnished 1 bedroom basement apartment with a workshop accessed from the hangar. The apartment is a second living quarters accessed from the hangar, so it is not included in the sq. footage. "

Maybe the 1 bedroom apartment accounts for the extra bed and bath?

It would be interesting to see more photos of the garage hangar. I'm wondering how both cars and a plane would fit...

Yes I have seen it. The basement is setup that it could be its own live alone apartment with a wall between it and the work shop. Would be a PERFECT RV overnight for a visitor.

The garage door is 90-degrees from the hangar door.

The garage door is on the left wall of the hangar. Back wall of hangar is the left garage wall.
In other words, the garage is in the back of an extra deep hangar with the garage door being in the left hangar wall.

Hope I described it correctly. Yes I was there looking at it a few weeks back.
