wrong flap bushings??

I went to put the flaps on today using the bushings and they are way too wide. They are only suppose to stick out of the bracket by 1/64 on each side and mine are way more than that. They measure .256 and the plans say they should be .156 so they are obviously too big. Could they have sent me the wrong bushings or am I supposed to trim these down somehow? I plan on calling Vans today but wanted to see if anyone else ran into this. This is for the 9 by the way.

I sounds like you got the wrong ones. It happens...my kit came with the wrong-size threaded fittings for the aileron pushrods. Just call up Van's and they should send you the right parts.
