Rain

Working on my RV8 fuselage here in CT. It?s raining a lot. Which got me to thinking what it will be like flying in the rain. So say rain (not heavy rain) for an hour with angle valve IO360 and an electrically dependent panel. How to keep the rain out of engine and rest of plane to keep flying. Thanks in advance.

I love flying in the rain (not heavy rain). Its so peaceful and smooth.......and the radio is SO quiet. I dont have any concerns about the engine. Others may have good suggestions about any rain sneaking behind the panel while flying the rain. I dont have an 8, but I have an electronic panel and Im not worried about the rain sneaking in while Im flying.
