Default FS: RV-9A QB kit, half done

I bought a QuickBuild and it's just short of needing a finishing kit and engine. I was looking forward to doing the canopy, but I'm not making progress anymore.

The QB wings are closed and contain a Dynon Skyview roll servo, a Dynon AoA heated pitot, two landing lights and a wire bundles. The wingtips are attached by piano hinges, and have LED tip lights.

The QB fuselage has the gear weldments in and legs drilled, and the seat backs built. I was planning for a slider but it might still be possible to change that.

Plus, empennage and odd stuff like a cover and maybe some tools. The local EAA tech counsellor inspected it twice.

Asking $21 K OBO. It's in the San Francisco Bay area, drop by and have a look.

I put a few pictures at Photobucket: The wings The Fuse Rotisserie and so on. More as requested.

Hi,
Would be interested in fuselage if you are looking to split things.
Thanks

Is there a usual split between the fuse and wings ? (It isn't just price: there's the empennage and tools and supplies.)

Default Questions

Don,

How far along is the tail kit? Is the interior of the tail kit primed? I saw one pic of the horizontal stabilizer. Do you have more of the elevator and the rudder?

Thanks,
Aaron

The empennage is done. Everything but the exterior got primer, as you can see in this pic:

Default More pics please

Don,

Thanks for your reply. Could you post pics of the trailing edges of the elevators, and rudder? It would be nice to verify the straightness of the trailing edges.

Thanks for your time.

The straightness is a good quick way to check my workmanship, so no problem. Here's the
rudder and the right elevator. Download the images to get the full resolution.

I believe the spar/fuse carry though need to be kept the same.

They are matched and serial numbered.

Just my 2c.
