leaky brakes

Is Tite seal OK to use on brake fittings? The can just specifies oil, gas and "most hard to hold liquids".

I use Pneumatic & Hydraulic Sealant - the same stuff they use for the hydraulic fittings on Caterpillar heavy equipment. It's like Loctite. Several manufacturers make the stuff and I use an off brand that I bought at a Cross hose supply store.
