Leading edge tape on MT prop

Has anyone tried leading edge tape to prevent erosion on an MT prop, and if so, what did you use and did you experience any degradation in performance?

Thanks, Rion

Craig Catto has told me that the 0.013" tape that is available from ACS has a definite degrading effect on speed. It will trip the flow on a prop. I obtained some 0.002" adhesive-backed nickle tape from McMaster-Carr to try on my new prop but haven't yet had the opportunity to test it for performance degradation or how well it will stay on.

The way they come from MT they have a heavy black polymer protection on the inner end and stainless steel the rest of the way, so I dont understand the question. You can see it here.

My MT has metal leading edge (FP O-320). Doesn't need tape. They make MT props another way?

Yeah, the only ones I've seen have a stainless steel leading edge built into it.
