Door struts

I am ordering new door struts and having reviewed prior posts on the topic, it seems that people have recommended Barnsbach as the source. The issue confusing me is that there have been different lengths recommended. The majority seem to have ordered the 287 mm extended length as opposed to at least one that ordered the 247 mm extended length (about 1 inch shorter). All seemed satisfied. Which is correct, or no matter?
 
I must be the one that ordered the shorter one. This is what I ordered:
A1 M8 Hinge Eye Endfitting
B0N0F50-100-247/XXXN Gas Spring 4"(100mm) Stroke 10"(247mm) Extended Length Customer Selected Force 570, Force type: Newtons
E2 M8 Hinge Eye Endfitting

It fits fine. I guess the doors just don?t extend up s much as others.
