Default Cold rolled steel

If no one offers, try the local steel supplier. Buy a couple feet of 1/4" x 4" cold rolled steel. Take it home and polish with a flat block, wet sand and light oil. 3/8" would be even better.

Sent you a PM. I've got one--it's at the hangar. I'll be back there in a couple of days and get a pic for you. I believe it is 3/8” thick X 4” wide X 15” long, need to check to be sure. May have a back rivet set also--will let you know.

If you have a table saw in your shop you have a great platform for back riveting. The large flat steel platform is great as long as you make sure you donít line up on the miter grooves
