Dynon SE in my RV 7

Well the crunch has happened and my budget is screaming as i approach the final purchases.

I have planned on Dynon Skyview touch 10 " with auto pilot.

The recent SE has come to my attention with great savings BUT has anyone tried one yet?

Can i upgrade to Full mapping later? I will call Dynon of course just fishing for some thoughts here.

From what I have read in the manuals, there is no software upgrade path. The SE line is intended people that will only EVER fly VFR. This applies to anyone that has only a Sport pilot license but could apply to anyone that imposes the same limitations on themselves.

The SE is upgradeable to a full SkyView. It's not possible to just upgrade to having a map.
