Prefer something in a cruise prop but open to everything.
You can't beat the value of Ed Sterba. Twenty years ago this month I test flew my very basic and light RV4. During the build to keep costs down I contacted grassroots parts providers operating from their garages or small shops. Ed Sterba was the first prop maker I contacted and what a great call. (Larry Vetterman as well)
Ed carved me a prop for my 0-320 RV4 that was spot on perfect for my HP/Air-frame at a very affordable price. Contact Saber Mfg for your spacer and bolts. Have Ed drill it to 7/16" as opposed to 3/8" as it stays torqued better. Make sure your flange inserts are 7/16" as well.
Here's a link to Ed's props on the Great Plains VW engine site. I recently purchased a 52-42 for my VW powered Sonerai that again, is dead on perfect.
