Default Headset and mic holes

So in my rig, next to each seat, are two holes for the headset and mic. I would expect two 3/8 holes, but I have one hole 3/8, and the other hole 1/2". Any ideas why that is? The 1/2 can't be for a LEMO.

But I also plan a LEMO. And with the fiber washer to isolate the headset/mic connectors a 7/16 hole is needed. So I'll be drilling up the 3/8 to 7/16, using the 1/2 to drill up to a LEMO size, then adding a new 7/16 hole aft of the first two. Would have been easier a lot sooner in the build.....

Yes, but why the 1/2 hole? What fits a 1/2 hole?
