Leaky Carb

After 360 h TT (RV9a, O320 D1A) the gasket of the acceleration pump (Marvel-Schebler MA4SPA 10-5217) got leaky. The airfilter E-3260 has this notch cut out and RTV seal around the acc.pump. I guess vibrations to the acc.pump are the culprit

Does anyone has changed this design? How? I would be very thankful for your help. We are not the builder, bought it flying. Thanks.

As seen in another thread today, the notch and RTV in the air filter are normal and per plans. I doubt that would cause vibrations and a leak. I had a similar issue with a leaking carb. I had it overhauled and has been flawless since. (I also had the main jet drilled up one size).

The filter installation has no influence on causing a leak on the plunger seal.
This is a common issue on all types of aircraft with carb's that have an accelerator pump.
