Anybody receiving the additional FIS-B Weather feed, winds aloft, temps lightening etc:? Not yet available on my AFS 5600 displays.

FIS-B weather data works on Garmin 660

Updated the software on my Garmin 660 and it now displays all the new FIS-B weather data.

Yes, I get it on my Stratus/Foreflight/iPad setup.

Not for sure but don?t you need an adsb in source? I have the dynon sv472 and get weather and traffic on my afs5600.

I have an SV472 installed and receive traffic and Nexrad WX, my question is what about the additional FIS-B data such as winds, lightning, icing etc:. Shawn from AFS posted a year ago that they were working on adding the additional data.

Oh I see, that would nice. I have an ifd550 that with the new afs software is suppose to pass fis-b data via rs232 to the ifd550 but haven’t been able to get it configured correctly yet so don’t know if it includes winds, etc but will work on getting it to connect, hope it does.

Spoke with Rob at AFS today, says He hopes to have the additional FIS-B Weather Data display available by OSH.
