CI-507 vs CI-1125

I'm in need of some advice. I have the opportunity to get a CI-1125 but need to know if all outputs need to be connected. I only need to use VOR 1 and G/S 1 in my setup. So my question is, Is it okay to leave the two unused ports open (VOR 2 & G/S 2) or capped off in some way? or should I just get the CI-507?

Reason I ask is that I can get the 1125 for $80 and the 507 is $165.

Unused ports should have a 50 ohm resistor to ground. You can run some coax and put the resistor across the end of the coax, if that?s easier. Bear in mind this will cost you half the signal. I?d recommend the right part. Other brands are less than $100, last time I looked.
