Does anybody know the order of parking used for Vintage Camping at Oshkosh? I?m flying up on Saturday or Sunday in my 1956 182 and would like to know what to expect for location.

Pre-WW2 appear to get some preference but unless you're with a special group they just start stacking north to south. Sat/early Sun should get you somewhere between the Homebuilt Caf? and ultralights. Seems to take Friday or earlier to get in the area by Theater in the Woods. Things keep getting worse as they increase the cutoff year for "Contemporary". Glad I'm in Warbirds now.

When I arrived early Sunday morning with my '56 172 I was given a camping spot just beyond the ultra light strip.

Is there a better section to camp in that would be closer to show center?

Not that I know of, there is a good tram that runs from that area, and decent showers out there.

I have camped there and the tram works out fine. Better than the North 40
