SkyTec - Hartzell, Great support
I've been following a couple of the threads regarding Skytec, the change of ownership and how it might affect customer service. I recently had a problem with my Skytec 149-NL. The starter was installed on a new Aerosport Power IO-375 in 2012, but first engine start and first flight was November, 2015. I called Skytec/Harzell, described the issue. They told me date wise it was out of warranty, but to send it in and they'd take a look. I shipped it to them Monday the 9th, I received a brand new replacement today, covered under warranty. I was hoping for a repair under warranty, they shipped a brand new starter. Great service, glad to see they are standing behind the product!
