Drop of zinc chromate in each pull rivet?

I was working on my empennage RV-14 and had a question.
I have had people recommended a drop of primer in the pull rivets applied with a twitch (tiny paintbrush).

Tony Bingelis recommends a drop of zinc chromate in each pull rivet.

Is there a product a little less hazardous that you might recommend?
I think the key is that it needs to have zinc as the main ingredient.

Maybe something that is not in a spray can.
I need a drop in each pull rivet since they are dissimilar metals.

I thought about using the cortec primer Zenith Aircraft recommends.
But, what specific product would like to know what you recommend.

I?m not up on the 14, but unless Vans said to do it, you?re gonna get as many opinions as there are rivets to set. Follow the plans and build on. It?s going to take long enough without a lot of extra work with unquantified return thrown on top.

None of my pulled rivert were prepped this way... empennage was completed 20 years ago and none of them show any rust.
