Default Oops rivet for an LP4-3

So I had to drill out some rivets attaching baggage floor F-1224-L to a rib, and I did make one hole oversized - too big for an LP4-3. A 5/32 rivet would be perfect.

One 5/32 I've seen is the Cherry MSP-54. What do you guys think? I'd hate to have to bit the bullet and order a new baggage floor b/c that means a lot more drilling out of rivets.

Especially at that location, I wouldn't think it could be a problem. It's never a bad idea to contact the Mothership with such things.

Nobody ever built a perfect airplane. I built 4 imperfect ones that still allowed me to make the miracle of flight and defy death!😜

Cherrymax oversize rivets are available at ACS if you donít need a full 5/32.

Maybe easier to make two new holes/rivets on both sides of the enlarged hole (after approval from Van's).

Being the baggage compartment I'd dip it in JB Weld and just set it.

"That's My Boy"

As Spike would say in Tom and Jerry...
