Anyone flying with a D3? Likes, dislikes? I am just flying day VFR.

I'm looking at ditching my vacuum driven stuff when I replace my batteries during annual later this month as I am on a weight reduction project. Seems like a good time to do it all while I have things opened up.

I have a D1 for a backup.

They work well but I would not recommend them as a primary EFIS. The reason is that they display GPS speed and altitude. Also, there is no way to set the altitude.

As a backup EFIS, they are perfect because they do not tie into your pitot or static system and can run for a number of hours on their internal battery.
