Spark plug lead clearance...

I've got a clearance problem on the top plugs of my 0-360. Not even enough room to put the wires on! Has anyone else had the problem, and how did you resolve it? I'm considering auto plugs on top, should have plenty of room for them. Just not much room in the cheeks of the -4!!

Are you using Champion plugs?

If so, have you considered Autolite plugs? They are somewhat shorter than Champions.

Didn't realize the Autolites were shorter. I think a friend at the airport has a new set, I'll check 'em out!
