Got me a new engine for my -4! Got it from Bubba, seem to know a lot about aircraft conversions. Said I ought to out run lighting bolts if I ran into thunderstorms!! Looking forward to getting her going!

Might be a bit tougher to see over the nose..........

But won't be worse than a Cessna 195!

Look on the bright side

It will easy to verify throttle position, you'll be staring right at them.

Might be a good time to install a nose gear on the 4 just in case not enough lead can be installed in the tail.

In a previous like

I flew an aircraft for a couple of years back in '93 and '94 that was powered by a small block Chevy 350ci. It was a 2/3rd scale P51D. The company has since changed hands (it was Fighter Escort Wings) and they sell them here:

It was a hoot. Starting it up at Oshkosh to fly it each day drew quite a crowd.

I always hated the way my right shoe would start melt when racing. It makes me wonder if this would melt both shoes at the same time...
