Default RV-8 and the First Second Flight

I bought a new (to me) RV-8 back in December and the weather has been so lousy this year today was only the second time I have flown it since. It was a nice day and fun was had by all.

It went something like this...

Thanks for sharing. It bought back a lot of memories of cold maneuvering watches bringing USS Ohio in and out of Submarine Base Bangor via the Hood Canal.

Thanks for the post Steve, that is a great looking airplane you have there. I was the guy at the fuel pumps today with my student in the C170. I should have my RV8 in a hangar ready to fly after I finish initial training in the Q400 with QX. See you in the pattern!

Hi Sam,

I think it was me you chatted with today at the fuel pumps! Check out the first "Pic" in my signature. (But Steve is a buddy of mine and has a nice RV-8 too!)

Good luck finishing up your -8!

Thanks Carl,
Yes from seeing your airplane pic, that was you I met at the pumps. I look forward to joining the large number of RV pilots there at Arlington. You seem like a great bunch.
