Polishers--better than TSP???

Wondering if anyone has discovered a "magic bullet" for cleaning bonnets and flannels.
I've experimented with several things--haven't found anything better than TSP, lots of TSP.

TSP

I have not found anything that works as well. Almost at the end of the prelimenary polish. One more round of bonnets to wash and I get to do some more assembly.

Keep hoping somebody will stumble upon something that will just melt the gunk outta the polishing material.
Think I'll try gasoline next. :D

Interesting... Does TSP clean the microfibre cloths well too?

And does TSP clean the cloths well enough that you could put a load of laundry in your washer afterwards? Or should we basically plan to buy a second-hand washer for our polishing stuff?

I just toss used polishing materials. Not worth the conversation that it causes with your wife if she sees that stuff in the washing machine.
