F-796A Fuel Tank Bracket Install

So I'm working to get to the point of fitting my -7 wings.

Previously I had fashioned and temporarily installed the F-796 tank attach shims and angles. The plans spell out doing the final drilling and bolting when the wing is fitted. BUT I see in different builders logs where the F-796A bracket is fitted beforehand.

Sooo...wait for the wing fit or knock this out now and do the final bracket bending when fitting the wing??

Drill it now

Michael, definitely recommend drilling that now while you have excellent access. You can always adjust the bend slightly on the bracket itself later after the wings were installed. Mine only needed a slight tweaking. Rob

Yep I have heard the same thing from others so I went ahead and did mine before I flipped the canoe.
