Did you forget to crimp the pin to the center conductor? Looks loose in the video.

I crimped all of my center pins and this video from Amphenol shows it being done:

Yes he did. At 4:10 of the video you can see he placed on the center pin over the conductor but never crimped it on. Time to redo the BNC connector.

Not correct

You must crimp the center pin! Watch the Steinair video on YouTube on how to do this correctly.

It was crimped - sorry never made the video. This was a sample piece you can see from the size of the wire.
