I just realized that when I primed the inside of my flap skins, I neglected to mask the trailing edge where the double sided tape is supposed to go between the extruded wedge and the skin.
Has anyone else laid the tape in over primer in this situation, and did it work for you? I'd prefer not to have to strip the primer off the trailing edge as I shot it a couple of weeks ago and it is very well cured. It seems the tape is not structural, but I'm wondering if it is intended to provide a moisture seal, and would this be compromised by the primer?
