Are there any new rumors of there ever being a Van's high wing?

I love my RV8 and want a metal, slow, open door, affordable and somewhat good looking high wing.

I agree it is time for Vans to produce a high wing all aluminum airplane with the performance of a Super Cub

I thought flop tubes, injection, inverted oil system, and 5 point harness took care of that?

You can always pick up a Luscombe . Fun little high wing , plus it has sticks not yokes .

How about a Bearhawk? Saw the Bearhawk Patrol at the AOPA Frederick Flyin last weekend and thought it looked great. Performance specs look great too, though I've never flown in one. Would very much like to. Wings metal but fuselage covering fabric though.
