Dumb Governor Question

Hi Folks,

I am about finished gathering parts for my FP->CS conversion. I have an IO360M1B engine with a rear mounted governor. The question is, do I need to drain the oil before I take off the pad cover and install the governor? I would hate to find out that it is located below the oil level and have a lap full of 50 wt.
 
Gov drive install

No need to drain oil, it is way below level of the governor drive.

Which FP prop are you removing? If you're thinking of selling I could be interested... Any details would be much appreciated.
